Growing up experiencing food insecurity, homelessness, stints in foster care, S.A., and being surrounded by drug addiction, Tiana took her arduous upbringing and learned from it. Refusing to be a victim, or to perpetuate a terrible cycle, she ascertained how to not only survive but thrive into adulthood. As a speaker, she shares her journey through an empowering message of resilience, inspiring women to emerge from their trials, a better version of themselves.
As an author, she has taken her hard-earned life experiences and formal education to create useful tools in an effort to empower Black women and women of color – including trans women, non-binary, gender non-conforming, genderqueer, and all those identities oppressed by misogyny. The passion for her work lies in empowering women to realize that there is limitless abundance that awaits them and the only thing that stands between them and their best life is effort, accountability, and a shift in mindset.
Intuitively, Tiana instills in readers that self-empowerment is a continuous choice. Growth is constant and necessary for everyone, every day. It’s her mission to be a dynamic C.A.S.E. worker by conveying the importance of embodying Communication, Authenticity, and Self-Empowerment in every aspect of life.
